I am looking at a 2011 Lexus ES 350, but there are none that have the options I want so it will need to be special ordered. i would have gotten UL package, but don't want the panoramic sunroof. I do want Mark Levinson/Nav,PS,HL,HH,PA,WU,HN, and FS. (This represents everything in the UL package except the semi-aniline seats and the panorama sunroof). To make a long story short, Edmunds shows the MSRP as $44,665, Invoice as $39,764, and TMV as $43,173. The TMV represents only 3.4% discount off of MSRP. Considering the 2010's are closing out, and the vehicle is special ordered, is this the best price I should expect? I just don't know the rules of negotiating a price for a new model special ordered vehicle.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about the pricing on 2011's, but have you tried TrueCar.com?

They run pricing reports and list area dealers who supposedly will honor the prices reflected in the report.

It's easy to do and if nothing else interesing to see the results.
