Need help with adding new contacts via bluetooth

Have a 2009 ES350 for 18 months. When I first bought the car, I was able to load all of my cell phone contacts into the car via bluetooth.

Problem I am having now is that I want to add additional contacts via bluetooth but that does not appear to be working.

I am wondering how people are able to add contacts once the initial transfer is completed.

Should I go ahead and delete everything in the car now and start over? If not, how do I figure out which contacts are new and should be transferred?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but how do you add all of the contacts via Bluetooth? On my new 2010 I figured I have to add 1 by 1. Thanks

It's all dependent on which phone handset you have. Some handsets can transfer both all the contacts at once and single contacts individually, some can transfer all the contacts at once but not single contacts individually, and some can not transfer all the contacts at once but can transfer single contacts individually. And some Bluetooth phones don't work at all with Lexus Bluetooth systems.

If your phone is one that is listed, you can check out its capabilities at http://www.lexus.com/models/ES/acces...bluetooth.html .
