Making ParkAssist Alerts more audible
Hi everyone,
Just picked up a great deal on an '10 ES350 with Nav and ParkAssist. Love the car so far! Great value!
Only concern is about the ParkAssist, I have noticed that the alerts consists of extremely low pitch and low volume sounds. I have a Nissan Armada and the system is much more audible in that car. The beeps get more frequent as you approach the object in the rear.
Since this is going to be driven by mother, I would like the beeps to be louder so she can hear them, at least loud enough to overcome the radio/music volume.
Also, would it be possible to add a couple of sensors and integrate it with the current system? I just want a couple more in the front.
Off topic as well, sorry, but I have leased the vehicle and we might decide to buy later on--would it be possible for me to tint the windows?
Overall, the car is a dream! So smooth and quiet!

Thanks, will look into it. Is there any way to modify the system so that the Parktronic always stays on. Regardless of whether someone's knee accidentally hits it. I use the car occasionally and I am tall. Sometimes my knee comes into contact with it and I am afraid my mom might forget to turn it back on.
