ES350 2008 Audio Disappointment
 

I am very disappointed with the audio range in my ES350. No crisp highs and mushy bass. Has anyone found an aftermarket modification to the stereo that is very effective and reasonable in price? Many thanks!

Me too, my stock stereo in my 01 IS300 sounds better...

I would say if you guys are disappointed in the audio quality you have a reputable audio shop bypass the Mark Levinson amplifier and install aftermarket speakers and an aftermarket amplifier. Or, list step by step each speaker and placement in the vehicle and replace them with a nice set of components. Component sets can get a little pricey, but if you're a true audiophile and worried about sound quality, it will be worth the money.

I doubt he has the ML system. Only the most hardcore would have significant issues with the ML sound quality.

The base system is indeed a bit lacking.

I own the base car/audio. Not Mark Levinson. I hope that somone on the forum has the same disappointing audio experience and has modified, replaced speakers, added an equalizer, etc. to improve the sound quality. PLEASE let me know. Thank you!!!

Have the ML saound system - once you go Levinson, you can't go back. Try Crutchfield for some ideas on modifications.
