I just got the "Low Key Battery" message and found three CR1632 batteries at Radio Shack for about $12 plus tax. It was a Sunday morning, and I had already searched Target with no luck.

Replacing the batteries in both fobs was super-easy. Just follow the instructions on pg. 334 of the Owners Manual (2008 ES).

Our batteries last so long, (we just traded in a 3 year old 2010 with original batteries), I like to buy batteries as needed so they are fresh when put into the fob.

Quite right! Plus, when you live out in the boonies like we do, and since we were already in town, and it was Sunday, so Batteries Plus was closed, and we were already at the mall where Radio Shack was, the decision & purchase wasn't based on getting the cheapest batteries, nor waiting for some eBay dude to get around to finally shipping something.

I can empathise with those who wish to buy something at the cheapest price, but in this particular case, buying from Radio Shack seemed to be the best solution for me. No "buyer's remorse" here. Sometimes instant gratification is a good thing.

I've gone to RS. As well as Walgreens, CVS etc. they are readily available these days.

when i first bought the car i went to radio shack and bought a 2 pack paid like 8.99 for a 2 pack in Feb i think
i had to replace the battery once in jun and still have the 2nd spare one in the glove box incase i need it

The genuine battery was panasonic and it lasted 3 years.
