Default ~60k service

I'm checking this out on behalf of my sister, so I don't have the service guide or anything in front of me and I really don't know a heck of a lot about her car (specific year, miles, etc).

She is supposed to take her car to the dealership this week to get a 60 (or 65?)k service done. It involves a timing belt change (according to her), among other things. I know from when I had to get one done on my Jetta, many years ago, it was around a grand or two for what she is outlining. I know that anything that involves the stealership with my x5 costs a fortune (189 dollar oil change, anyone! haha) and the Lexus dealer is the same as the BMW dealer here. I have a good indy shop for my x5 and I found a shop that I trust to service her car, which leads me to the real question at hand.

What does she really need done at this service interval? It seems crazy to me that a timing belt (or does this car have a chain?) would need to be replaced so soon. I would like to figure out just what she needs done, call the indy guy, get it set up and save her a tidy sum.

Any help would be great. I plan to get her service guide out tonight and check on what is suggested there, but I need to call the shop this afternoon, before I get off work, to make sure they can fit the car in before the weekend.

I think it is a 2007. She drives a lot. 1000 miles a week during college for here last year wouldn't surprise me. But, then again, as I said originally, I really don't know much about the car. It is sitting in front of my house right now, so when I get home from work, I am going to check it out. For all I know, it could be a 2006 es330. I assumed a 2007 because it seems to me she got it her senior year of college, but well all know about assumptions.

I am going ask the same question in the es330 forum too just to cover my bases incase it turns out to be a 2006.

My 07 has 57k on it now. I stopped taking it to the dealer when I got their quote for the 30k, something like $750.00 to $800.00.

If you read the ES350 manual, the recommend service for Timing belt (and water pump if you are going keep the car for longer) is 90k miles.

Default timing belt

The ES350 doesn't have a timing belt. It uses a chain.
