Getting to rear of head unit.
Searched but couldn't find anything specific. Just bought an XM radio and direct wire car hookup kit. Would like to do it myself.
Anyone have experience removing the dash trim pieces around radio/NAV head unit on the ES350 ('08)? Anything else I should know with respect to getting to the rear of the radio unit?
I don't want to break or damage anything.
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks static!
Two more questions before I go for it;
1. Anyone know if it's possible to get to the antenna connection on the back of the unit without completely pulling it? Maybe reach around with the side panel removed?
2. Where can I get a picture of the rear of the stereo showing where the antenna is plugged in?
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for all of the help guys! I have one last question. I have the XM antenna on the center rear edge of the roof, cable tucked nicely into the plastic channel along the glass.
I routed the cable under the trunk weatherstrip (layered some electrical tape to remove the sharp metal edge).
Rest of cable is sitting in the trunk. It was too dark to do any more, so I quit for the night.
Anyone have a good place to get the wire from the trunk into the main cabin for routing to dash?
