Has anyone seen an aftermarket backup /parking assist system that can be dsiplayed on the navigation screen like the one that comes factory installed. I have been told I can't get the Lexus system as a later ad on

 

There are two parts to this. There is the camera, that shows the rear view when the car is in reverse. Then, there is the image of the car that appears on the screen along with which sensor is "beeping" when you get close to an object. This image also shows up on the info screen between the tach and the speedo.

Are you asking about both or one or the other?

Because, I gotta believe you can add a backup camera and integrate it to the NAV system. As to the sensors, that might be a little more difficult. But, I'll leave this one up to the techs.

 

I have seen aftermarket backup sensors, but they look an eye sore, and are annoying to hear.

I dont know about a camera, that would be involved trying to get it to show up on the screen I would imagine.

As of yet there are no companies that manufacture rear parking assist sensors/systems that gives the indication on factory installed Nav system screens.
