Annoying center storage unit lid
 

Just got a smoky granite mica and signed up here.

Overall, pretty happy with the car, but for one annoying issue with the lid on the center storage unit (between the seats). The latch on it is so sensitive that when my elbow even as much as touches it when I rest my arm on it, the lid pops open.

Is anyone else seeing this or do I have a defective latch?

Welcome to CL Anil....yep its sensitive and aint nothing we can do about it!!!! You'll get used to it....My dad complains about this all the time! Whereabout in MA are you? What kinda ES package did you get?

When we got our car I'd frequently bump the button and open the console. After a while I must have adjusted to it and no longer have the problem. It probably just takes time to get used to it. Good luck. Nice color choice BTW!

Welcome to CL Anil. Good choice of color on the ES. Which interior color did you select? The lid is a bit akward at first but you will get adjusted to it in no time.

I got the grey interior. I did not realize it when I saw it the first time, but the grey is almost white. Looks classy when new - let's see how it looks in a year. :)
