0-60 really 6.8 seconds?

There's dudes with Camrys posting 14.2 second 99-100MPH time slips, the ES and the Camry easily go 0-60 in 6.2 seconds... The trick is faking out the TRAC to get a good launch.

It's a conservative OEM estimate
All testing shows low 6s 0-60mph times.
All reviewing shows a mid-high 14s 1/4mile time.
It's a 272hp, but a 3580lb curb weight. This puts it a a mid-high 14 second 1/4 mile time by the time you add a 150lb driver.
What do mid-high 14s 1/4 mile cars run 0-60? Low 6s 0-60mph times.
Which itself is backed up by the lighter weight Camry running low 14s 1/4m passes & running 0-60mph in.

I have read about LS460L's going 0-60 in 5.5 from multiple sources. The initial times (mid 14's with 0-60 in around 6 secs.) when the car was initially available for testing were not of the actual production models, but just test/pre-production models.

If those times were derived from a LE V6, then it has a roughly 119 lb. advantage in vehicle weight on the ES 350 (3461 lb. curb weight for LE vs. 3580 lb. for ES). I don't think the ES can do 5.8 but IMHO it could quite possibly be able to do low 6-sec 0-60 real world if you run it w/ < 1/4 tank full of gas and traction control disabled...and a good launch technique doesn't hurt either!

When I first bought a car I never though that it will be so fast. I raced my friend in his new accord v6 auto, he was not even close. He was 4-5 car lengths behind me, and statistics for this car shows 0-60 to be 6.9
I also raced FX35 whose 0-60 is 7 seconds. Kept up with me till 35 then I flew. Raced 330Ci, year 2002 or so, from a roll, he punched it first and I kept up with him till 100 mph, was always near his door but never passed. His 0-60 is 6.5. Oh and considering 3 people in the car and a full tank, while he was alone. Another race is with Gti on stick with exhaust, I believe everything else stock. Off the line he got me, I was next to his rear bumper and this way we continued till 100 mph and his 0-60 is also 6.5... So my assumptions are, lexus 0-60 is around 6.7 seconds... However its very fast on the highway...

after researching online i foung some numbers: Car and Driver rates ES350 at 6.2 and Motortrend at 6.5 i think
But this is strange... 6.2 is faster than g35?? 280hp? dont think so...
