Cutting speed-sensing wire in my GS did the trick ;) Plus, I can dial the number from touch screen display while driving (dial pad is no longer greyed out).

Twister,

I have been trying to figure which wire to cut.

I'm not sure about full compatibility of connectors/wiring between GS/ES. Plus, since I don't have NAV the mod was very simple. For details, look at my Signature and click the link for the mod. It will take you to GS forum link where it was described. Either way, when you do cutting, make sure its reversible just in case if you cut the wrong one ;)

Yes, that is the light blue wire that you need to interrupt to disable the speed lockouts. However, it will also affect the smooth scrolling of your NAV map display. That's why I've installed a physical switch to easily enable/disable the speed sensor input.

Yeah, cutting the speed wire and adding a physical switch works on the Prius too.

It's fixed. Go to the ES 350 forum and look at the first sticky post. This is the answer on how to scroll song titles.
Great solution.
