You really should check out www.seloc.net. They are very cool and laid back, even to those of us that don't own a Lexus. We do lots of meets and greets and just have fun. Not just standing around talking about who has the biggest motor, we drink too....
The tires are actually 245-35-20(I believe).... And the car rides pretty good still, its not a rough ride at all..IMO
It'll be Sat before I post daytime pics.. I don't drive the ES everyday by the time I get home most evenings its dark...
To all of those inviting me to the meet and greets in the A... I will definitely come out soon..
(Oh yeah.. how do u get the snippets of previous posts in your replies??.. I'm new don't blast me.. I saw on the quick post the little check box... but I couldnt select it

I'd also be curious as to how much such a wheel/tire combo weighs, relative to the weight of the stock combo--unsprung weight does affect performance/fuel economy/braking...not too drastic a difference, but not a completely-negligible one either.
Saw a black Camry (Es350 same thing) today at Lowes running Nitto at 225 35 40zr20 on chrome on black rims and it look good. I was going to take a picture with my cell phone camera but it craped out with a dead battery, of course.

I'd be curious as to what the offset and/or backspacing is for your wheels--a 245-wide tire is more than an inch wider (tread width, that is) than the OEM tires; such a wider tire could theoretically create rubbing issues when turning the wheel full crank...or stick out past the fender a bit (not a big deal if you're into that kind of look), w/o the proper offset for such a larger wheel.

The tires dont stick out from the fender at all (I'd have to check with the hubby for offset and all that other stuff)
.... I do however, notice when reversing and turning the wheel, a slight grind.. I assume its the wheel rubbing... I am going to have that checked out to make sure..As far as braking.. I haven't noticed any decrement in efficiency...
Even on the stock wheels, I thougth the performance (at high speeds) left a lot to be desired. I don't find the car performing any worse now.
Fuel economy.. it has decreased slightly (don't have numbers just the trips to the gas station)

But thanks for the overall feedback on the dubs, nevertheless!!!
I was at the dealership today and they had a showroom ES350/TP on 20", really looked good so I thought I would share this with everyone. tire size for all (4) tires are 245/35/20. I liked the way it filled in the fender gap too. Picture one.
