Just came back from a southern california Club Lexus meet. Guess what, only 3 ES350s represented: Me, Cocopops, and a loaner (It was great meeting you Cocopops). As expected, 20+ 2ISs and a few SCs and GSs. It was dinner at TGIFridays and then gift exchange afterwards. This is not the place or time to meet women....cus CL has very few female members. But it was fun talking about cars and drinking a little beer. Man the TGIF Jack Daniel Grill menu is awesome....thats some sweet sauce there!

Kaius... nice to meet you as well. You are the only ES350 owner I have met since I joined CL (heh..we joined in june n july). Mayber we can do one of this again when the new year comes around (you're probably gonna be busy during Christmas).

 

Kaius, nice to hear that you enjoyed one of many CL meets held in Cali (esp. SoCal which seems to be the prime mecca for meets in Cali).

Now the all-important question... where are the pics?

 

Well,I didn't know about it either, although I travel like crazy and don't know if I can ever go either. Since a lot of us have the same trim and color, it'd be nice to compare how clean each other's car is.

 

Raaats! I signed up for that meet and totally missed it. Actually, I showed up in my white IS around 15 passed 6, and no CL members were in sight hanging out in the parking lot....so I went to the mall instead. I should have gone in the restaurant anyway but felt kind of weird being more than 2 hours late with my X-mas gift. But, I saw lots of nice looking cars. Kaui88, I think I spotted yours since there were so few ES350. Nice car! It felt like driving to the Lexus dealership.

ok..my bad for assuming we have very few southern californians on this forum. I figurered yall would pop over to the southern-cal forum to read the sticky. Anyway, I'll post here next time just in case. It was hella fun, and there will be more during the year. Everyone was friendly and I met some cool people like Cocopops. It would be fun to do a ES350 meet in the future maybe?

Actually 3 ES 350s are a big showing....I've helped organize meets for 5+ years now and ES owners for the most part are not into the "meet" and "show" scene. Rarely do we get more than 1 ES at a big event.

I was in one for Orlando this weekend for a meet and I did not see one.
