Es350 Mods?

What mods if any are you planning to make to your car? I am looking at a possible wheel and tire change (larger) next year.

Me too--looking to upgrade to 18" forged wheels, and adding the factory XM receiver. Maybe swap out the factory halogen driving lights for 3000K HID foglights too...and I guess if I wanted to go for HID overkill, the high beams too!

Here's a mod to look forward to...

In the past, installation of TRD supercharges has always allowed the full factory warranty to be maintained.

Gotta love a company that will offer an extra 60HP and warranty it... The prototype TRD supercharger seen in a camry (CAMROD) at SEMA. No reason it shouldn't bolt up to the ES and no reason to not like 330HP.

Is that raised two-hole opening right above the grill an intake scoop of some sort? If so, then I reckon that it's either a different hood or the original hood needs a slight modification to accommodate that raised intake opening.

They're very unlikely to do it. It's just another paid aftermarket installation for a show car. Just like the TRD S/C 1gr-fe Tacoma that ran around 3 years ago that's never seen the light of day. And made an unimpressive 450bhp on a *completely* rebuilt engine.
The simple facts of the matter, are:
  • TRD has all but stopped using roots blowers on new models due to very high charge temps on very high compression engines
  • The entire purpose is to put a unit on an engine absolutely as cheaply as it can be done
  • Toyota has *never* provided an effective aftermarket tuning solution, leading to an outstandingly high number of blown engines. Modifed, and unmodified alike
If Toyota *ever* comes to the table on a Camry platform again, it'll be a pissy little centerfugal supercharger. Not a roots blower.

A turbo of less size will walk the piss out of one, and do it for less money, AND with better management.

There's a depression in the hood bracing that allows for the intake... My SE V6 has the same exact air inlet, it is the stock intake location.
