This is only related to the i4 engines... The 3.5 IMO needs a remap as well, but hasn't been released.

I've been saying the same thing for weeks here and at ToyotaNation... There isn't an issue with the transmission/engines on the Camrys or the ESs... It's a software problem, people are "tricking" their cars into the abnormalities. I fully expect Toyota to make changes in the near future as they gather enough information about the issues so that they minimize the number of times they need to reflash customer's ECUs... BTW - when I say "tricking," I'm not talking about "user errors." Instead, I'm saying that Toyota didn't account for all of the issues that may arise once in the hand of consumers.

4teh,

If you look at Cold Start RPM Spike subject on here, you will see where I said in response in addition to transmission comments I also feel SOFTWARE could be improved. Sooner or later the software will be updated for sure.

Ons...

There is a definite transmission issue too as you can hear a classic slip in recordings I have done. These are different than what I would call software type events that are not gear(s) specific where trans involved is gear(s) set specific when it happens.

Why was I under the impression that the hesitation only happened in the V6's?
