From order, how long to wait?
 

I placed a factory order roughly 4 weeks ago with my local dealer. As you can expect, I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on my new ES. If you factory ordered as well, how long did it take for you to receive your new car?

I did not factory order mine although the topic did come up briefly at the dealer regarding option selection on the car. Sorry to say, believe you will be chomping at the bit for about 3-4 months for a custom build order from the factory in Japan.

hm...wow 3-4 months...but i think that is the same for all lexus cars across the board...so yea... :rolleyes:

When the car is completely built, it will take 26 days to get to the Long Beach port in California. Then it will take 7 days or so to be trucked to the east coast. If you have any special orders, then it will simply take longer to build.

Yes, all depends on the options you select. For my PP+ Tungsten Pearl w/o NAV (build 6/06), took about 3.5 weeks from placing an order.

hm...all good info...i wonder if it is still too early for deals on the ES350...lol :p

a lil off topic..but was wondering if anybody has the ES350 Aquamarine Pearl color and how does that look in real life?...on the lexus site it looks pretty nice...has anybody ordered it?

I just got my Aquamarine Pearl last Saturday. Absolutely stunning color, looks darker in the shade and brightens up when in the sun. It looks pretty much just like the sample swatch in the sales brochure. The Lexus Web gallery pics make the car look lighter than it is..

i have waited approximately 4 weeks for mine. It finally arrived at the dealer today.
Pickup on Wednesday.

Special Order ES350
 

I ordered mine on 24 June and the dealer said 4 months before I would get it. I am having a problem with Lexus of Greenville, Greenville, SC as I want the 10 spoke graphite polished wheels. The dealer tells me he does not know how to order them. I have called Lexus in CA and have gotten the complete idiot treatment. Does anyone know where Lexus Southern Region is located and how do I get in touch with them? Thanks

Well, I phoned my dealer to get an update on when to expect delivery. My car is scheduled for production the first week of September. He expects that I should get it the first week of October. He mentioned that the trek across the ocean took roughly 3 weeks. So my next question is how long does the car take to build once it is started on the line..1 day?
