has any ever heard of improving your mileage by adding pure acetone to your tank? 1 ounce per 10 gallons? i also drive a 1991 mercedes 300SE i tried it with that car and i think it did help a bit but im not entirely sure. i dont want to try it with my ES350 if it doesnt work...

Haven't heard that one yet. But with computers and o2 sensors becoming so complex I would not try it myself. Yahoo has an article about putting nitrogen in the tires to help with MPG.

Why don't you try it and report back how it works?

Nitrogen has less expansion than normal air. That's all. Nothing to do with fuel mileage. Tire pressures tend to stay constant.

google it, it has been discussed on many forums and does not work, plus over time it will destroy the fuel system, myth busters even did it and got worse gas mileage.
