sparking plugs
Aloha, I looked on Rockauto and it shows 3 different plugs for my car, (2007 ES 350 174,000 miles). Iridium twin, Iridium power, and Iridium long life. Iridium twin have the best lifespan and performance, while the Iridium power has the best performance but less lifetime. To me, I don't think that I will live long enough to reach 100,000 miles more averaging 556 miles a month. But, am I missing something here? Do you folks have suggestions?

Put the Iridium power. They look like the OEM's.

You may want to also replace the 3 coils on the rear bank as it is so difficult to access that you do not want to have to go back there again if one fails on your 18 year old vehicle.
Get some Denso coils as they are the original equipment supplier to Toyota/Lexus. Save your old coils in case one of the front ones later fails so you can use it as a replacement. Be very careful removing the wires from the coils etc as they are easily damaged. Check out some YouTube videos for tips. This same engine is used in many different Toyota & Lexus models such as the Camry, Highlander, Sienna, Avalon, ES350, RX350, |
