Hi Everyone,
I have a 2010 ES350 and my soon to be 16 year old son will drive it. I want to pair his I phone with the system so he can be hands free, but I also want my phone to pair when I am driving the car (without son). Can two I phones be paired (main and secondary)? I have checked users manual and have been looking online for info on this, without any luck. If you have any experience with this, please give me advice on how to do this. Additionally, I see that there are third party devices, like Carplay that can be paired too, could this be the best option?

I have a 2007 and have not had luck with the car picking up the phone that is in the car unless it is selected as the primary.

 

Did you get it used? If so the prior owners phones may still be linked leaving no room for more phones. Check and try deleting all phones, then connecting your 2.
