2008 AC, drivers side warm passenger side cold

Hi, I own a 2008 Lexus es 350. My drivers side blows warm while my passenger side blows cold as it’s summer time in indiana. It is a dual setting but I am not currently using it as dual. If I put temperature up to Hi for warm both spit out very hot air, but on low as stated above only my passenger side blows cold air while my driver side blows warm.

I have talked to my cousin and looked at the car myself and the blend door actuator on my drivers side appears to not by working correctly. I don’t hear loud sounds but if my head is near the actuator I hear slight weird cranking sounds from it. First I’d like to ask if this sounds like the correct diagnosis? I also have purchased an aftermarket actuator to replace it and I was going to do it myself. Is this a doable job by myself? I don’t have any of the mechanic tools to make sure it’s what is is however I think I can do it myself. To go along with this the actuator for this model is motorized so I have to plug it in to get the correct power to put the actuator in the same position the old one will be in if I take it out. And I have heard some vehicle need their actuators calibrated, and is that true with this model? I’d rather not have to take it somewhere because it will cost a lot more than just the part. Please let me know your thoughts or if you have done it yourself.
