The single line LCD display on my radio has started to have issues. (6-CD, non-navigation, P1869 faceplate ID) This does not impact the operation of the audio (so far) but the displayed characters are gibberish until the issue resolves on its own. I have not yet been able to come up with a predictable pattern of what causes this (it happens hot or cold, with or without vibration, no change with power cycle or car restart). Is this a common issue for these radios? Is there a known fix? I'm a new user so please accept my apologies if this has been answered previously, my forum search results seem to only address navigation screen issues. Thanks in advance for the help!
