Hey Guys,

today my 2011 Es with 220k miles throw code P2716, now I cleared the code with my little scanner and it hasn’t popped back up. Few things, I did read other post when I was googling the code to try and get some information, a few of the post I found states to do a transmission service, now I would say late January or early February my tío did a tranny service for me only because Annamae transmission started slipping, after he the serviced her transmission everything’s been fine, she may shift rough from time to time and when I notice the rough shifts I just take it easy and she smooths right back out. My question is, should I worry about anything or wait to see if the code pops back up? Also I just started driving for Lyft to help out with my mortgage, so I was thinking it could be because I have bee shifting heavy back and forth from park and drive, but I could be wrong it was just a thought.

 

I don't think the code would be triggered by hard shifting PRDR but I should say that it not healthy for the transmission.
