Where is the catalytic converter located on 2007 Lexus ES 350? My neighbor had her catalytic converter stolen last night from her Prius.

 

There are three I think, two are just after the exhaust manifold (basically on the engine itself) that's almost impossible to remove (one for bank 1, one for bank 2), the secondary cat is attached to the flex pipe/front pipe that goes under your car.

 

Thats insane, I don't know how someone could even get under that, what they do, lift it up, then take it? My friend had his stolen in his truck, what they did after replacing it was to put a wire fence around it and bolt it into the frame or something. the wire mesh can breath still, but you can't get at the convertor so easily.
