Default 2015 vs 2017

Potential 1st time Lexus buyer just looking for advice. Right now my best options are 15 ES w 60k miles vs 17 ES w 94k miles. Both priced at $24,000.
Both have good maintenance hx’s. The 15 ES shows “minor “ accident in carfax. The accident occurred in first month w new owner but for next 60k miles all good w it’s hx. It’s 2 owner.
The 17 ES is clean carfax. Good hx. Basically a 1 owner.
Not sure what pck the 15 is. The seats are not perforated. The 17 is Luxury pck.
I drove both. The 17 actually looks and drives like new car despite 94k miles. The 15 also looks and dives well but it’s not as “pristine “ as 17. But it is nice too.
And the dealer (not Lexus) w 15 will let me bring car to mechanic. The Lexus dealer w 17 says mechanic can come to dealership only to inspect.
So any thoughts??? Am I better getting 15 w less miles or 17 w higher mileage?? And I know it’s up to me and no one can predict future. Just looking for thoughts from Lexus owners ????

While neither is a bargain, I like the 17 in this comparison. It's two years newer, has the mid cycle refresh items including more safety features which arrived in 2016, is a higher trim, no accident history and is at a Lexus dealer. The only downside are the miles, which are less important on a Lexus. In 3 years, the 17 will have much greater resale value as it will still be two years news, with one less owner, and one less accident.

Had a 2015 ES 300h and currently a 2017 and the 2017 IMO is better looking inside and outside. The ES is the most reliable vehicle ever surveyed by J D Power over their long history. If the 2017 with more miles was regularly maintained would not matter to me the extra miles.

There are huge improvements with the refresh model.

Is the one to get.

I’m still thinking it over. Both cars are still available. Here’s more info: The 15 (at independent dealer) will let me take car to local mechanic. The 17 (at Lexus dealer) will only let me bring in a mechanic to look it over at dealership. Problem is I don’t know any mechanic well enough to ask them to actually go to a dealer ???
The 15 does have some minor little dings from other car doors and knicks from rocks I’m guessing. Nothing major. It will need new tires in near future. There still ok but not new. The 17 does have new brakes and tires. On test drive I had auto temp on and w windows up and no radio I could hear a slight sound coming from fan. It’s subtle but enough that I noticed it. Air and heat all work fine. Lexus dealer said they will check it out. And I don’t know how to explain this well but as you’re looking at front. Theres the Lexus grill in black and that is surrounded by like a silver “piece” “fascia”. I don’t know what you call it but there’s a little fracture line in that silver piece surrounding grill. Not sure if that’s big deal. So I know I’m rambling. Just looking for more owners thoughts as I consider buying one of these ???
