Master Switch controls Ground to all the windows in a car, if you were to take it off or use an incompatible switch, none of the windows would work, which appears to be the problem in your case.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

What happened to the Master Switch that needs to be replaced?
Can you share pictures of both the old and new Master switches?

From the factory, those cars had two options for Window Regulators - the one with Auto function for the Passenger or without. Your particular car appears to have that Auto function, but the switch you picked up is off of lower trim ES, which doesn't have that option, hence it doesn't work. The switch has to specifically say "AUTO" on it, which, judging from your pictures, it doesn't. There is surprisingly more of the regular ones on sale than I expected, since I myself never saw an ES without Auto function in person, though I know they exist ... somewhere..

In summary, the first step would be to find correct switches for your car, and only then go from there. Your best bet would be to visit a junkyard, though the switches specifically have to say "AUTO" on them. If that's not an option, then eBay will be the way to go.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
