How much for a remote...
Do you guys know how much it would cost for a OEM Lexus remote for unlock/lock and starter at dealer ?
Just to have an idea if it brokes or something.

For the 1st-gen ES, the cost of the master remote key is $132, obtained from lexus-parts.com. I'm not sure what the local dealership charges for the same part.

According to your profile, you have '95. The only years the ES had a separate key chain remote were 97-98. I'm not sure if the 97-98 keychain remotes are programmable for the earlier years. I do see them on eBay from time to time, as they were quite similar (if not the same) as the remotes to several Toyota vehicles, meaning there's an outside chance you could buy a keychain remote for say, an Avalon, and program it for your 95 ES.
