I have loud clunks over bumpy roads, especially at low speeds. Is there a diagnostic checklist I can go down to see the cause. It's at 250k and its a 2002 es300 I don't really want to throw a bunch of money at it. I looked through the forums and there seems to be many different suspension noises and causes.

At 250k if you still have the stock suspension, you'll likely need rear springs and struts all around to get it back to any reasonable (and possibly safe) condition. At 250k these can still have a lot of life left in them unless someone badly abused the paint/body and/or interior.
