Transmission install
Has anyone installed a new transmission on a 1998 ES300. My dad and I are trying to find a way to put the new tranny in but the back end doesn't allow us to jack it straight into place. When we removed the old one we had to take it off. Any suggestions?

It's hard to understand what issue you're having. But if it's not 'leveling out' you need a load balance/lever.
I put a chain on the eye on the middle of the trans, and another around the final drive unit. Once it was close to in place I put alot of blocks under the transmission, then re-set all my chains and the load lever to make finer adjustments to the angle and rotation.
Once I got my rotation about right, I set the transmission on the wrong angle (back end down), and lined it up rotation wise.
Then I got my first bolt into a top bell housing position hole. Then another near it, then another past the starter low down.
Then I set the angle correctly by lifting the drivers side (usa). then I put as many bolts in as I could and it all slid into place.
