Default 09 AC Cooling issues

I did a search but I couldn't find a solution for my 5th gen. Maybe they're all the same but idk.
Anyway, my wife just called me to say that the AC in the Lexus wasn't blowing cold and light was flashing. I'm on my way home now to check it out but from my searching, I found that I might need to replace a few relays but as I mentioned before, idk if all years are the same. I did notice a few days ago that it's wasn't blowing as cold as it usually blows so it could just be that I may be low on refrigerant. Should i just run it to Oreilys to pull the codes? If there are no codes is it that it's only low on refrigerant? If that's the case, can I just buy a few cans and fill it back up myself? Thank you!

You are moving to fast and don't have enough information to understand what is going on. You need to know what light is on and what it means. Also take your code reader and see if there are any codes in the system. Then once you see if there is anything about the AC system then put a set of AC gauges on the system to see what the pressures are. Based on these results you should be able to make an assessment as to what needs to be done. Replacing parts before understanding what is wrong is just throwing money away.
