Default No engine information?

Hello all,
On most newer cars (and some older), there is an option for you to check engine information, i.e. the life or percentage left on your oil, is this not an option of the ES?

Those just go by the miles driven since last reset anyway.
There is a maintenance section in setup for you to set reminders for stuff like that.

Apparently Lexus and Toyota dont see the need for an oil life monitor like many other manufacturers do. Here is a link to another discussion on that subject. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...e-monitor.html

I go by miles driven on the Lexus as that is what depletes oil life. Wife has a '14 Honda that gives percentage of oil life remaining but still go by miles.

Just a service reminder, based on mileage.
