Default 2ES newbie

Hello, new to the forums and am looking forward to talk to you all! I got a 1994 Lexus ES300 with 209K miles on it.

I got a issue if you guys experienced it. When I open up the rear doors the dome light doesn't come on. I was thinking that it was the black **** for the dome light switch... Does anyone know where I can find that part for cheap?

Thanks!

The door switches go bad on the back doors frequently on these cars. Not just your Lexus, but just about every Toyota and Lexus really. It happens because the rear doors are not used as much. You can try removing them and cleaning with contact cleaner.

The switch is part# 84231-30110 about $15, or maybe try Rockauto.com they might have them for cheaper.

It looks like those are for an SC, not an ES.
