Blue flashing light

Just bought a 03 ES300 noticed blue flashing light above rearview mirror. What is it and how do I turn it off? I am still downloading all the manuals haven't found this yet may not have time until the weekend.

Thanks ahead of time for any help - love the car (my first luxury sedan), had a Mercedes ML SUV once but like this better in a lot of ways. I think I made a great choice.

Sounds like an aftermarket addon. Could be a security system of some sort.

it is a mini-cop built into the mirror. Watches as you drive and writes tickets on the spot. Slow down!

Its definitely an aftermarket addon. I have an 03 ES300 and no where is there any blue light that flashes. Maybe take a picture and post here for better luck? Though I think you're better off asking the previous owner.
