Default alignment problem

Ok I have a 99 es300 and the rear struts went out. I went and bought new ones but no one here in my town or even close will put them on because they say it will need an alignment too and they can't do the alignment because some Lexus have a reset switch that has to be reset after each alignment and their machine cannot do this.... has anyone else ever heard of this problem? What will happen if I get the struts replaced without getting an alignment?

I've never heard of this before. I have replaced the rear struts replaced twice and the front once and have not needed a realignment and have had it checked numerous times (everytime i get an oil change)
