Hello All,

So I am considering getting the Lexus car starter done @ my dealer. I have heard that the only negative to this is the range is only 30 ft (which is pretty small).

I however did see something called the Lexus RES + which stands for Remote engine start (using your smartphone). It is currently only available for the RX.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any info as to when/if this will be available for the ES line.

Also if anyone has the starter installed in the ES can you confirm that the distance is indeed 30 ft?

Im nervous to install a aftermarket installer outside of lexus, as I don't want to mess up my new car. Also not sure if a non lexus aftermarket starter would even work with a hybrid vehicle
