Might be something as simple as a fuse; however if it's been in the shop for body work I'd strongly suggest taking it back to them to fix. Might be a shorted wire/loose ground etc.

I'm hoping that you haven't signed off the release from the insurance company, as it sounds like the body shop made some serious mistakes and can be held responsible for fixing them--as long as you haven't signed the release.

If you HAVE signed the release, you can try to get the ins. co. or the body shop to fix the problems, but be advised that they are no longer legally responsible to do so. The repairs are now your responsibility. If you decide to try asking/begging the body shop to fix the problems, be sure to be nice. If you get nasty, they are within their rights to tell you to take a hike.

Check the fuse box, there is a 10amp fuse that can be replaced, open the cover which has a diagram and will point to the "Dome" fuse position. Note that these are micro fuses so they can be a bit tough to find however there should be one spare 10 fuse in the cover as well. If that is not it then definitely go back and demand a repair, waiver or not. If they cause issues tell them you are going to contact the local commerce and better business bureaus and actually do it.
Good luck, let us know how this turns out..
