Door Panel Light's
Well, on my quest to get rid of all the yellow lights in the car, I moved to the door panel lights, and I got the assembly out, and it looks like this......

Opened it up and got this.........

and this....

Has anyone changed these? I have found that it is a 168 bulb, and I found this on V-LED's

but worried that it is going to fit. It was a pretty snug fit.....

Hey, i have changed mine to clear white LED's, not sure of the brand as I got them from a local supplier, probably nothing special. All I say is that there where no issues with the bulb fitting into the housing. but the plastic clip on the left side of picture 2 was unable to fit back onto the housing. This is probably due to my LED having a wide lip around the bulb, hereby preventing the clip from going onto the housing properly. I will try and post a picture of what it looks like tomorrow.
I went with a 2 LED flank but it seems VLEDs don't have them anymore.Just a 4 LED flank that may be too long.
Second choice would have been these.Kind of a waste because the LEDs are 360 style but these bulbs do the job of taking the yellow away and give a nice white light.I've used these bulbs in door panels before..

Well, I finally got the chance to change out my bulbs. As I thought, the housing was too small, and the bulbs were considerably longer........but not an issue for the Dremel! Just shaved a little of the housing........see following.

Before the trimming of the housing.....

After the trim.......

I will take pictures tonight after it gets dark of the final result.
