Hello, I'm new here.

First and foremost, I'm dedicating my first post as my greeting to this forum and as a new member here. I've been coming back and forth to this site ever since I bought my 2001 Lexus ES300 around mid May. It's also my first luxury vehicle as well, previously drove an Accord and a 4Runner. I'm loving everything this car has to offer.

So far, I've utilized some helpful tips from others by skimming through the site-- Thank you. It's a wonderful place to be, so I decided to join. :D

Here's how my car looks the day after I got it (car wash).

I haven't really upgraded much in general, but this is what I've done so far:
- Nokya hyper yellow fog bulbs
- Clifford Remote Start/Alarm System

More future upgrades on the way, such as a fully new sound system (waiting for the right timing to do it, due to funds lol), window tints, coil overs lowering springs, new shoes, etc. I'll be posting my progress from time to time, and will be contributing to this site very soon.

**Will be updating with more photos, so check back soon! Criticism welcome ;)

I'm new as well... I have a 2000 same color as yours, 190K still runs great. These cars age very well... you will love this car. People here are very helpful, I got quick answers and suggestions on some maintenance questions I had.. wish I joined up couple of years ago!

Nice, I am new too. I got my 2001 ES300 in February of this year.

Loving it so far!!! These forums are great. Looks like yours is the grey metallic like mine? Black interior?

Enjoy!:woohoo:

seyelabrev Aug 24, 2011 08:16 PM

Not sure of the specific colorways, but the exterior is a two tone with black and grey, with black interior.

@Lexus180 I've seen your post, and I must say, your car is much TOO cleaner than mine. I'm super jealous :/

@deanhavie Appreciate your input, but it's roughly a concept for the coil overs-- which is likely to happen.

New photos up tomorrow after I clean the car. Stay posted!

Hmmm.. can you say, grave digging?!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack with some updates! After the last time I've posted, I decided to work on the necessities first; taking care of the major tune-up/maintenance and what not.. This year, I've done a few mods here and there, which I'll let some photos do the talking..

Adios to stock audios. Literally swapped everything to aftermarket sounds.

Waited a month for these. 18" BBS LM Replicas (already know I'm getting flamed for this, lol).

NEXT UP: Tanabe springs/tints/paint job (in no specific order)

Very nice rims. And personally I have yellow fogs too and they are amazing

seyelabrev Apr 20, 2012 10:44 PM

Thank you everyone for the kind words! Had to get things installed before I hit the year mark..

smee- I got them at Fairfield for a really good price including tires. I still have their information if you're interested.
EEngineer- It's truly a honor receiving a comment from you good sir. Your car is a huge inspiration to me.
