I have a 2007 ES350, with the Nav system stereo. Is there a way to update the software to add the option of Bluetooth audio input so the need for a cable plug in is not required to listen to Bluetooth streaming music from your iPhone?

 

I don't think doing A2DP stereo bluetooth is as easy as a software fix. However, you can do what I did -- I bought a Kensington LiquidAUX:

I got mine from Amazon for $30 a few months ago (doesn't seem to be that price anymore ). It's neatly stashed away in the console, and works perfectly.

 

Is this a 2007 model limitation ?

I see 2010 owners posting about streaming music from iphones

The 2007 ES350 lacks the ability to accept streaming BlueTooth audio, and lacks the USB iPod jack. Those were introduced with the 2010 MY.
