Default It doesn't look good

Hi guys.I took a look inside the engine the other day and its nasty in there but the car runs fine though..Anyone can give an idea what i can do to clean this thing or if it is cleanable at all.Even if i clean by hand the front bank I can't do that for the one in the back. It's 94 es with 200.000miles on it.Tried seafoam twice already.[IMG]https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/data//500/220.jpeg.And for some reason cant add a pic.

you're not doing something right. seafoam would have helped. you put the seafoam in the oil , or in a ported vacuum source?

Did the previouse owner use detergent oil? Get engine to running temp, put some crankcase flush in the oil and let it idle for 5-10 minutes, then change with good oil.

The color looks like a characteristic of blow by. And there's a little sludge in there too, it looks like.

Thank you guys.I will put seafoam on oil and see what happens but i just changed the oil(Castrol not syntetic) so i guess i have to wait until it comes for another oil change.I got this car for $1000 Cdn few months back and it was in bad cond,The previous owner was a Bum.I still can't get it how the hell he was driving that car with the whole front sway bar hanging there only with 1 bracket and no bushing inside it (the other one wasnt even there) and both stabilizers links broken in half.Maybe he was deaf?No surprise he never changed the oil.I drained the transmission the other day and Holy Mother of God what kind of SMELL came out of the Black Thick oil.Yes,black and thick maybe was there since new.

Anyone can tell me if on my 94 es300 the engine an interference engine?I mean if the timing belt breaks are the valves or the pistons going to go with it?I don't feel like changing the belt now(money wise). As far as i know last time was changed on 63.000 miles(sticker on the cover) and now it has 200.000.I open the cover and i looks ok,no cracks or oil inside. This is my first Lexus and I am really surprised by Lexus quality ,these cars can take beating after beating and still run.A Bmw or a VW will be in the junkyard by now.Thank's to everyone for your help.

The 3.0 v6 is a non-interference engine.

yes but on your **** on engine, there may be so much carbon build up to negate the gap... thus making it interference until you seafoam the **** out of the combustion chamber, and do a engine cleaning procedure [which involves oil changes and so on.... I think i should say this now incase you don't get it, DO NOT DRIVE AROUND WITH SEAFOAM IN THE MOTOR OIL]
