Headlight Headache
So where do I begin . . For the past month my passenger side headlight has been turning off by itself , either while driving or just not powering on when starting up the car. After a few flicks of the headlight off/on switch the headlight magically starts up. The past week, this started to happen more often . . I'd be standing at a traffic light and it would turn off atleast 5 times and require me to turn my headlights off/on a few times before it turns on.
I decided to try and find the problem (bad idea) , I checked the ballast, bulb, wiring, everything seemed fined especially being that I just put in new ballasts / bulbs 3 months back. After unplugging and replugging everything my passenger side headlight won't turn on at all. It starts to flicker non stop, almost like police sirens. At this point I've completely unplugged all the wiring and have no idea what to do. Everything was plugged in when it flickered, the drivers side light works perfect, the ballast and wiring for the light seems fine. What am I missing?
Does anyone have any recommendations?

If you have a relay connected to the battery, the fuse on that thing might be dead. Same thing happened to my friends Avalon of the same year. The contacts were corroded due to water/whatever so we replaced it and the problem was fixed.
Hope this helps

As others have said,, def a wiring problem. Even though your ballast are new, you may have just gotten a bad one. Same thing happened to my bro with his Tahoe. In his case the ballast was drawing an excessive amount of power, thus over powering the ballast itself. Check the wiring, and you may need to contact a shop in order to have a power reducer installed.
04Es330 I bought last Nov. has a problem very much like those described by Sash. I replaced passenger running light bulb with no luck. Circuit from swich is live and solid so currently suspect headlight module/ballast. Will check fuses as recommended. Dealer wants $425 for the module. I believe in everyone making a living but not by mugging. Anyone know of an alternative source for the headlight module? The driver's side works perfectly. This new guy glad to find you folks after a long day of searching the Net.
