Hi guys, here are some pics from the Lexus event me and Ana went to in W. Va on June 28th. I know I'm so late, but my b-day was last week and I've been partying it up.

Yes, that helmet was way too big, it made my driving quite difficult cause it was so heavy on my head...lol..and that was a small. The stupid doily kept covering my eye a little too.

The instant you connect with someone who has some rolling/action shots of you guys on the track in that ES, you gotta post 'em up!

And give us the narrative. Did you get X number of attempts in before the rain started, or did the rain ruin the whole thing?

 

We actually finished the entire thing before the rain started. We had 4 tries on the autox. I was able to drive both IS250 and IS350 with the F sport and the GS300 and GS400H (I think those were the ones they had). I only remember the colors. But my fastest time was in the white IS at 17 sumthin seconds. Ana also did her fastest time in the IS and was about 18 sumthin seconds. The next portion was the lead/follow, a 4 car formation going around the track in the IS-F. That was a lot of fun, driving the IS-F was my favorite part of the event. Then right as it started drizzling we got in the IS-F for our hot lap with a professional driver and was able to experience the true capabilities of the IS-F. Overall it was a fun event with good food, amazing cars and a lot of excitement. Plus it was FREE.

As much as I love my ES, I know I will eventually get a lexus sport sedan. I will keep my ES tho, I love her too much. But yes, I want someone to take some rolling shots of me in my car, that would be fun. Maybe at the next NELOC meet.
