Everytime I try to play a cd in my stock radio, the screen reads "error 3". I have a 98 es300, with the Nakamichi stereo system, and it has the 5 disc cd changer in the glove compartment. The disc changer is not the problem because it comes out just fine, but Maybe it might be the lens or something in the reader? Please, if anyone knows what this means, please help!

 

usually menas need new cd reader

 

mine was doing that too but it ended up being all 3 cds i burned lol
so try different cds before you buy a new one

 

i think you mean 6disc changer. not 5.

try other cd's. are they burned cd's. because if they are, i bet that theyre formatted for mp3.
