Default Nav day/night

I have a 2008 ES350 w/NAV. How do I change the NAV to automatically change to the dark screen at night? Mine stopped automatically changing and I have no idea why.

Thanks

You probably have the dash light control clicked all the way up. Just move this wheel control slightly down and then it will allow the day/night feature to work.
