Default i need help asap please!!! jerking?

I need help my car is running like total **** it feels like im driving manual transmission in first gear when i take off in the morning....it does it all the time now it jerks like as if im letting the clutch out to fast then theres a loss of power takes the car awhile to get acceleration....

i dont know what is wrong with the car does anyone have any suggestions?

its a 1992 with 180k on body but 70k on new "used" engine

does it clear up when it warms up? If it does you might need to check the cold start enrichment.

yes it clears up the jerking that is..but still feels like it has loss of power

what exactly is the cold start enrichment? and where is that located?

its on the passenger side of the intake but first fuel injection is not somthing for the mechanically inclined if you have a shop that you deal with you should take it there let them know whats happening... it could be somthing as simple as a fuel filter... however there are specific tests and tools needed to be performed to determine the exact problem... however if you feel you are capable I recomend you download a service manual before you proceed there is a link if you are interested...

And dont rule out silly things like a plugged exhaust or binding brakes/ E brake stuck on.

Being a 92 there is a whole list if things that could be wrong. Bad/ fouled plugs from oil leaks, timing way off, fuel pressure below spec, low/ uneven compression.....etc etc etc.

Could be something as simple as a TP sensor. Take it a shop and have it checked out.

180k milages on the tranny.. when was the last time you had a tranny fluid changed?

these tranny are made to last... depending how often you change your fluid and how hard you drive.
