Default 04 330 Seating

I have noticed that the 04 ES330' s front seats don't have alot a lateral support. The leather appears top notch but I was wondering how comfortable and supportive the seats are when taking quick corners and on long trips. Any comments?

My '03 has the same seats as the '04. I recently took a trip from New York City to Minnetonka, Minnesota and the seats were extremely comfortable throughout. The lateral support was adequate, except for pretty fast cornering. In that situation the smoothness of the leather would make you slide around a bit, but it was no problem since I generally slow down in the turns. Remember this: The ES is NOT a sports car!

I totally agree with Alan.
I might add that the use of the seatbelt also helps with my lateral support.

I often drive 200 miles in my ES 330 in one day for work. I have a large frame, at 5'8" 240lbs, I find the latteral support very comfortable. I love to take turns in this car, but not at sports car type speeds. With around 7,000 miles+ on my 3 month old car, I still find the chair comfortable and supportive. I adjust the lumbar support with the different roads I drive on. For example, on roads with a lot of turns, I reduce the lumbar support to gain a little more latteral support.
