Disabling or resetting the anti theft system of my es 300 1999
 

So this forum has saved me before and i'm hoping it can save me again. I am having problems with the anti theft system of my es300. I have always had problems with it. For instance, my car alarm will go off if I don't unlock the car from the passanger side and yesterday it went further and it would not let me start my car in less I opened my car door while I was already in the car (weird) but I just want to reset it or disable it knowing how to do both would be a big help.

There is a switch in the drivers side door mechanism that tells the lock computer the position of the latch. Possibly the switch/latch is bad or the wiring going to the switch (broken wire in the bendy part). This is not to be confused with the door switch that turns on the dome light.
