92-96 and 96-01 Strut interchangeability
 

Yo whatsup i just bought a 94 es300 with 200k and am replacing alot of parts on it. I wanted to ask if anyone knew whether struts made for a 96+ will fit a 92-96.

Looking to do quick struts on a 1994 and rock auto only seems to carry the rears. Also hard to find KYB / Monroe online for the front struts specifically for the 2ES.

1992-1994 has a strut with the pivot bearing at the bottom, 1995-1996 the bearing is in the upper mount. You can use a complete strut 1992-1996 but you cannot mix strut parts 1992-1994 with 1995-1996 (coil, mount etc.).
