Default Timing belt

2005 es330 with 58k miles. Should timing belt be replaced due to the year? Or just leave it alone

Hello,

Belts usually last about 80,000 miles or 10 years, after that, it's a pure lottery. While you will probably be fine running your old belt for another 30,000 miles, now is the question of what would turn out to be more expensive after all.. In my opinion, if it was never replaced, I would suggest to do so, just for some peace of mind.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

If it's been in Texas its whole life, the heat exposure over the years would be enough to get me to replace it.
