The biggest challenge is finding honest shops who will not charge for six and only change the front three.

Not sure how the ES300 intake plenum is, but on my Avalon *which I think has the same engine 1MZ-FE* there's an unnecessary support in the back. If you end up removing the bolt that connects the plenum to the support you can leave it out, and it makes the plenum come off in about 10 mins, which means you can get those plugs in and out in 15.
