Dumb question about stabilizer bar bushing size

Hi all, I have a 2000 ES300. I'm going to replace the stabilizer bar bushings front and rear. A site like Rock Auto shows several different diameters.
How do I know which size(s) fits my car?
Thanks

Hello,

I also have a 2000 Lexus ES300, and both of my stabilizers are 17mm in diameter..
Your best bet will be to measure the diameter of your bars with the caliper, or call-up a local Lexus dealer to ask for the Part Number, they will use your VIN number to find your part. It will have to be a Lexus dealer, since Toyota may have different kind of stabilizer.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Don't measure at the bushing location because the bar is thinner from wear. The bar on my 99 had worn to the point a brand new OEM bushing would not prevent clunking. Had to build-up bar diameter with a few wraps of Teflon tape. Has been working great for years.
